Fellow Opus Grinder: When American Design Meets Superior Performance

Fellow has built a reputation on treating coffee equipment as design objects that still have to perform. The Opus is where that approach meets serious grinding.

Fellow Opus: Design With a Purpose

Clean lines and considered finishes make the Opus a piece you leave on the counter rather than hide in a cupboard. But the design is functional too — it comes apart easily for cleaning and is straightforward in daily use.

The Burrs

The Opus uses 40mm conical burrs built from six stainless steel cutting edges, driven by a 6-Nm motor. The combination delivers consistent particle size without excessive heat, which is what protects the delicate aromatics in the bean.

41 Grind Settings

Forty-one settings cover the full range — fine enough for 9-bar espresso, and coarse enough for French press and cold brew. Between those you have V60, AeroPress, and drip.

Anti-Static Technology

Built-in static reduction means less clinging and less mess — particularly useful in a dry climate.
